Let’s be freaking honest with each other.  Not everyone gives 2 donuts about being the smart girl in class or graduating with honors in college.

Some students don’t even know why their in college and that freaking cool. We all don’t need to have the same goals or out whole lives planned out to the T.  But there is one thing I do think everyone must do before they start college.

Get fuh-reaking clear on what the hell you even want out of college.

No seriously.  What do you want?  Why are you here?

You cannot prioritize your life, your assignments and your activities in college, until you can answer that question.

And if you can’t prioritize what is important to you, you’re going to be walking around like a damn basket case for the next 4 years because you can’t get it together.

When you know what the purpose of college is for YOU. Not your mom or your dad or your friend but for YOU. It becomes so much easier to decide what get’s your attention and what doesn’t.

Suddenly you know whether or not you should spend 4 hours watching netflix or 4 hours looking for internships and completing your resume.

You’ll know whether you should go to that sorority party or the networking event being hosted by your marketing professor.

So please, if you know do anything before your first day of classes let it be this.

And friends don’t let friends walk through college like a basket case.  So tell all your friends. Share with them, the how to prioritize and create your best college experience blog post.
