What I’ve found is that most busy college girls want to eat healthy and workout, they just don’t have the time.

College courses, part time jobs and your social life take up the majority of your time,  so it’s hard to find time to eat, let alone get in a workout.

It’s not like you don’t know you SHOULD be weight training AND doing cardio to help you lose weight.

When I was getting my first degree and working on losing weight during nursing school, there was a type of workout routine that I would unapologetically admit is the best workout routine for college students.  It helped me lose weight without sacrificing my grades or social life.

This type of routine is called Circuit Workouts and they will save your life, girl.

No, seriously they will.

Imagine being able to read the Odyssey and catch up on all the newest episodes of Scandal at the same time.

That’s what circuit workouts are like.  You can get your weight training and cardio done at the same time.

Normally when people weight train they take rest periods between each set of the exercises.  With circuit training you eliminate the rest until you have gone through 1 set of each of the exercises back to back.

You then rest for 1-2 minutes and repeat until you’ve done 3 sets of each of the exercises.

Eliminating the rest period keeps your heart rate elevated, which equals CARDIO BABY!
