The first day of college is creeping up on us isn’t it?  I think for most students there are 2 weeks left before the stress ensues.

Avoid it by being prepared your very first day of class.

Today I want to tell you 3 things to do your first day of class,  that will help alleviate the first day of school overwhelm.

I am all about helping you stay ahead of the game.

#1– Introduce yourself to the professor and ask them these 3 questions.

  • What is the best way to contact you?
  • Which textbook do you consider to be the main textbook that you will be pulling most of your material from?
  • What are the formats for your exam.

Bonus question:

#2 — Take out my favorite tool of all time, your planner and your syllabus and write in all of your due dates and exam dates. Avoid being caught off guard and having to pull an all-nighter before an assignment is due.

#3 — Start a rough draft of you reverse engineering plan for your first big project, paper or test.  Break it down into smaller actionable steps you think will need to happen for that assignment to be considered complete.
